At present im working on a defence graduate scheme and have been for a year now, I have a couple of years experience as an electronic engineer and hold a first class honours degree. I recently applied for another job and have been asked to go for interview.

Now it gets interesting, this new job is significantly better pay and is a management position +£8k + Benefits + Car, and is still something defence related which I think I would really enjoy.

However the organisation I currently work for has offered to pay me for a year to do an MSc, all paid for.

Do I stay and get the MSc only to be trapped in a poorly paid job for two years? Or do I press the eject button now and go with this better paid management position but throw away the opportunity to get an MSc (if I get offered this new job)

Hope that all makes sense, any ideas gratefully accepted.

R Cool
