hi,
im 30 years old, have done many courses to do different jobs, but none have given me the satisfaction. for the last 8 years i have been looking after my kids, but now my youngest is going into full time school, its time for me to go back to work. i would really love to get into internet crime, but i havent the first clue in what to look for, courses, training, etc.
i would be very grateful for any help. |

| There are specific courses that you wont be able to enlist in (like Ethical Hacking). Those require some experience in the filed and a job in that specific branch of work. I'll suggest that you try to get in as a system administrator (lot's of oppertunities and courses there) and then make security a study while you're at the job. Also let people know you're interested in that kind of stuff. In a few years you might catch a break. In my opinion it's good to try to get in this line of work by being able to hack yourself. So at day be a system administrator, at night try hacking systems. It's no easy and clear path to this line of work so I wish you luck. |

Thank you for the reply...this was a big big help. I have been in touch with portsmouth university and am awaiting their reply. I now know the name of the course that i need. so even if portsmouth cant help me (as i live in london i wouldnt be able to attend there because of my kids) i can apply to my local university which is Brunel.....or even open university.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me |
