Global leader in the design and manufacture of lighting controls and shading sysyems for residential and commercial architectural building applications requires a Production Manager for their maunufacuring plant on the Island of St. Kitts in the Eastern Caribbean.
The plant is a low tech electro-mechanical assembly operation with approximately 300 non-union direct and contract employees. Depending on level the position will either report to the Plant Manager in St. Kitts or the Business Unit Manager at corporate headquarters in the U.S.
This individual will directly manage 3 Production Supervisors, an Engineering Manager and a Maintenance Manager. Major responsibilities will be to produce quality product in a cost effective and timely manner. Strong preference for a mature individual (management team are in their 50's) either currently residing and working in the Eastern Caribbean or an individual open to relocating to the island for an extended stay.
