Hello everyone
i am 20 years old and i am a high school dropout because i make good money working as a chef i started when i was 18 working and now i make around 5000/mo take home so i was greedy and never wanting to go back to school and get a career, but i dont have any benifits or a good future and the thing is my salary will stay like that until i died or open my own restaurant. so right now am regretting, and im looking forward into getting my ged and enroll into college, to get a degree in maybe law enforcement and become a police officer, because i want to catch the bad guys and wanting to solve crimes cause that's what my passion is.
i just want to ask if anyone have any experiment in police officer or have worked as a police officer maybe can give me some sugestion before i pursuit it. like maybe tells me the difficulties that officer go to and is there alot of stress? do you like it? what are the cons and pros? and any benifits or things like that would help me alot.
and is there anything i can do before joining the academy to help me be ready?
i dont really know if i want to commit to it and become a police officer
also anyone have any advice on any other good career out there ?
and i dont need the http://www.cvtips.com/deciding_on_a_college_major.html i already look over it but it doesnt seem to help much.
