Be very careful before sending any money.

When you apply for a job, you would normally get paid and not pay them!
I am not saying this is a genuine case or not, I am saying be careful. I would let them know that I would pay them 300 Sterling once you worked for the first week in the UK and you have your work permit, that way all of you gain.

I think 300 Sterling would still be worth it and you make sure that all is in order, I think the extra 100 would be worth it.

I agree with CV. Be careful before sending any money. I would check out things with the BBB and still, not so sure about sending the money. Often a reputable business has a trail of positives following it a mile long, and they are all easily found. I personally would be very afraid to send that kind of money.
