Hi everyone, this is my first post on this site. I need some help from you people. I have completed my college course from California and need to get a job (otherwise I feel sickened at home). I know that there are other resources to find a job…but I need a one that can ease my work of searching and help me find good vacancies.

Hope to get positive replies.

It’s the same everywhere. When the college going gets finished….its always a hunt for a job. I too was in a similar situation and was desperately in need of a job. Thanks to my lucky stars I found a way for my search. You too can have a california job search where you can find a suitable employer and the vice-versa.

I believe this can help you.

If you just got out of college then you should be able to still get help from the career center. Sometimes search engines such as monster can help but are almost like a shot in the dark. And another way is to just start researching companies related to your major via the web, and apply to them directly. All of these can be time consuming, but if you try multiple methods at once it often seems to work best.

Just stay as organized as possible, or you will start to get confused.

I agree about the career center. They can be VERY helpful. The career center at the college I attended would bend over backwards to be of help. Mine even offered things like video taped mock interviews.

If what you were looking for is a site that will combine postings in one place, give the link in my sig. a try.

There is no easy way... It will be worthwhile to explore all aspects, as you miss out on a good opportunity if you don't.

Here's a quick list (not in any order):

Cold calling and networking.

The Internet:
Yellow pages
Employer directories
Company web sites
Job advertisements
Resume Posting Online

Newspaper ads

National Publications/Journals:

Professional Associations

On-campus recruiting

Job Fairs

Employment Agencies
