Since the fallout of Lehman Brother, I lot of people will be out of jobs. Imagine competing jobs against the person that you use to work for or your co-workers? The financial situation is not good especially banking, finance, mortgage. That's why being self employed is a good way to start and be your own boss. Home based business has skyrocketed over the years and this is the reason why. Jobs are unsecured and you have to work to much to make ends meet. For all the self employed people in this forums, I congratulate you for making it this far. Life is for living, not working.

This current economy is very scary. I have been teased, at my young age of mid twenties, for being so aware. My colleagues are very much in their own worlds and only now beginning to notice what is happening; I have been aware because I have been negotiating employment contracts and the like. It's tough--plain and simple, regardless of which side you are on. While self employment is always a good idea, it can be a very risky idea at any time unless it is went into with a good business plan and a clear idea, as well as a full business plan.

I wish everyone godspeed in these hard times, which seem to only be getting more difficult; I only hope we are on the upswing and near the end of all the bad news. Sad

Lehamn is just the top of the iceberg

There's never been a time in human history like nowadays where people really need to take full responsibility for their own life

Wishing & hoping for the best without being aware of the changes all over the world is like being in the middle of an highway with the car stopped

Just to remind you, few months ago, the biggest bank in the world for asset management (2 Trillion Dollars!!), UBS (Switzerland-based), has been saved from the failure by a Singapore fund who lent 9,5 Billion Dollars.

Not enough? The biggest bank in USA, Citibank, saved by an Abu Dhabi fund who lent 11 Billion Dollars..

While all these things happened, while people get scared about the next big crash and company crisis, someone somewhere in the world CHOSE to play big and make a difference for himself!

How? By making $1,000,000 in under 9 months with his home business, or $185,000 in 30 days!!!

They live in the same world just like us. So, we have no excuses!!

My sencere invitation: get out from fear today! Do something and start reclaim the abundance and the freedom you truly deserve Smile

"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." (Luke 11:9)

Becohave,

I totally agree 100% of what you saying. I know a lot of people are scare out there but the truth to the matter is if you don't do anything right now, WHAT IF, you lose your job tommorow, what are you going to do? More and more people are seaching online to make money these days and it will continue because of the current situation. Like you said, get your fear out and DO SOMETHING...

Yep, the economic situation is very scary at the moment. But where do people turn when they need jobs or information? They turn to the internet.

So it seems to me that instead of bleating about job loss or the lack of jobs, what is needed is ACTION in other words do something now. You'll feel better about yourself and may be able to provide a real alternative for yourself and family in the future.

Whatever skills and knowledge you have, somebody will value it (and pay for it) so I suggest you look to the internet for your future - it ain't going to go away.
