Hi there.
Im new to this site so forgive me if i dont seem to be clear on my topic.
Around the begining of september i was injured, i blew out my shoulder, at work. and filed for workmans comp and am currently receiving it. shortly after the injury i contracted mono and have spent the last two weeks in and out of the hospital. last monday, the 22nd, i went into work like my dr had told me i could, but shortly after arriving there i was informed by my employer that i didnt have a job any more due to my current state of health.
i was wondering what i should do, and where to go from here. its not like i can really do a whole lot considering i have a injured shoulder.
Any one have any sugestions??

Some month you've had there.

I think before you do anything at all, you need to recover to somewhere near normal. You've had a serious disease, and a serious debilitating injury.

Aggravating the injury is not a good move. I've had a shoulder problem, and it's not worth it.

While you're doing that, I'd say your best shot is to start doing some research about finding local jobs, getting your resume in order, and giving yourself a refresher in how to get a job.

Another thing you can do is some networking, checking out what's available.

A bit of housekeeping can help, too. Watch your budget, get rid of any expenses you can, and keep that end of things tidy while you're getting organized. The fewer things costing you money, the better.

I notice your employer said "because of your state of health". Any chance of going back later? Might be simpler, if you want to do that.

thanks for the advice. I talked to my employer when i went in and i had asked if there was any possibilities that i might be able to come back and they didnt answer. so Im waiting till i get somewhat better before I try and go back. but at the same time ive found that once i either quit or get fired from some where i cant go back cause it causes discrepcenties there.
