1. Never Send a Generic Resume
A resume should be tailored to the job for which you are applying. If its an online job description, read through it to find key words and phrases that you feel are important. Update your resume to work the specific words/phrases in. You should also identify which aspects of your personal experience you want to highlight for the job and move them to the top of the resume to make sure they are noticed.
