|
|
Alright, let's say you finally GOT A JOB! Now what? How do you KEEP that job once you got one after trying so hard to get a job? What skills do you need as far as say communication skills?
What do you need to do as far as passing the probationary period?
What if they say they aren't pleased with your work performance, how do you improve?
What if you decide that job isn't the one for you, how do you explain to them?
What if you once you got the big shot job after your job search, what if you found several other jobs all at once and they all want YOU to work for them? Which job do you pick? How do you tell the other place that you can't work for them?
If you think going to picking a career and going to school to learn that career is hard, think again. If you think getting that job is hard, think again. What's harder even yet is staying at that job. |

You sound very depressing with your views.
I have had the same job for 14 yeras and before that I had the same job for 6 years and I left because I chose to not because I lost my job. I am now losing my job because the company I work for are joining up with another company and a lot of the workforce has to go because there jobs wont exist anymore. I am one of them. They have tried to see if there is another job I could do insted but there isnt anything in the company that fits with what I am able to do.
Keeping a job isnt difficult if you do your job properly and listen when cristisisam is given because it is there to teach and not to make you angry.
I am sorry for my bad spelling but its not my strong area.

I think a lot of the things that affect keeping a job, are directly related back to looking for a job. Unless you absolutely need the money, don't just jump on the first job offer. Wait until you get an offer for a job you enjoy, and can see yourself doing in the next 15 years. People who love their jobs typically have long careers, whereas people who don't like their jobs, just have new jobs every couple of years. Take the time to look for that career, and you won't have to worry about this.

Ignoring the last two posts who are scam let's get back to the subject.
For myself I was never the kind of person "to keep a job". I was always looking for better jobs in my free time, and anytime I ha an opportunity to advance in my career I did it - that's why not at 26 years I worked at 10+ companies - and I don't regret it at all - I had the chance to know a lot of people, to work in lot of different team, to learn a lot and to have a new challenge everytime.
The key is that once you found a job to not stop hunting for other jobs - just to restrict your hunt to better ones.
Happy hunting. |

You get a job because you like it. Although there are many troubles in your jobs and you will be blamed by your manager. You will not finish your work on day timely. You will have poor performance. Anyway if you can learn more things that can improve yourself. If you really like you job, you will find a good way to how to change yourself to adapt your job.As for me, I will ask my colleagues who do it best how to improve my performance. Another thing is that we shoule be patient and responbility.

You need work to the standard that you described in your CV/interview. You were given the job because you made claims about yourself, your ability and your work ethic. You need to meet these demands, exceed these demands.

You need to know why they arn't pleased with your performance, is it your time-keeping, your communication, are you unable to perform set tasks? The employer should make you aware and you need to discuss with them scope for improvement.

Be straight with them, tell them why you are leaving, what you expected and what has made you leave. They may be able to offer you something that can better meet your expectations.

Have to disagree here, I don't think keeping a job is hard, unless you make claims you can't meet.[/i] |
