Noobie here!!!

Just thought id drop by and say hi.

My names Amba, im 19 and looking for a new job in the Legal sector. I am currently studying my ILEX part time n college after completing my first year of a Bachelors in Law through the Open Uni and realising that it wasnt right for me. I plan on becoming a solicitor in years to come.

Ive been out of work now since July, when i left my job as a Personal Injury Admin for a soliitors, i started a new job about 3 weeks ago but unforetunately as ive been off sick and in hospital the last week they decided to terminate my contract as i hadnt phoned in everyday. So im back to being unemployed again, i live with my boyfriend and so have rent bills to pay etc and really jus dont know what to do.

I cant get any temp work as there isnt much about at the moment, and i seem to do really bad in interviews.

So im looking for a legal role, in the Manchester area, something like a trainee Paralegal, or legal admin/secretary.

Hi and welcome!

It sounds like quite a pickle you are in. I would recommend getting back out there and searching of course, and you say you have trouble with interviews....there are a lot of articles on here to help with cover letters and such if you need it. I recommend taking full advantage of the site. Like this one:
