hi all i'm new here and had a read through lots of posts to see what everything is like Smile and then decided to ask your advice!

I'm in the UK, and i'm currently starting my 2nd year at A-Level (at 6th form) and just had my grades back from the 1st year and theyre not too great and i'm just considering what to do after A-Levels ...

I'm really interested in Animation; be this on the computer, using plasticine or anything else. I have been learning various 3D animation and modeling programs over the last 5 years or so (in my free time) and i was thinking whether it was worth persueing this stuff in University of some such course!

i'm good with image editing and an advanced computer user (i know this doesnt really mean anything but its worth putting in) and i've Hacked the school sytem a fair few times using my own ways and not using script-kiddie tools!

anyway i have lots of work of projects on my computer, and was wondering where is the best place to go from here and after A-Level (i'm studying Art, IT, Maths, Physics)

advise please Smile thanks in advance

If you get good at it, computer animation might actually be a very productive field to enter. From the point of view of the paycheck and of the professional satisfaction I mean. But you would have to be quite good because the domain is full of animation designers.
