hello ! after being laid off twice this year due to the poor real estate market, i am once again job hunting.
my problem is that i held the same position and responsibilities at two different employers back to back. is it okay to duplicate 'a few' of my duties and responsibilities under each employer 'word for word'? i held the most recent job for only 4 months and had limited responsibilites but do have additional information to add to the previous job because i was there for 6 years. that listing would have additional information to show. im not sure how to go about this. any help would be greatly appreciated !!

There are different resume formats to suit your needs. If it makes sense in the resume to show this, then do so. If not, use a different format [maybe functional?] to achieve what you need to say. A lot of people in your case may choose a combo format to say what they need to say to avoid redundancy. That is your choice. If you create your resume and it seems funny looking or flows in a weird way, try plugging the same info into a different format.
