Hello everyone,
I am going to enter my senior year of college next fall and I need to start looking for an internship. I’m majoring in linguistics, and I think summer internships are what I need so I’ll have time to devote.
I don’t really know how to go about finding linguistics summer internships. I’ve been fooling around on the Linguistic Society of America website (http://www.lsadc.org/is the link). There is a student section and a job section as well, but you have to join the LSA. There are some fees associated with that but the student fee is something like $30. It seems like a good resource for anyone looking for linguistics summer internships.
I’m finding more and more that being interesting in linguistics comes at the cost of studying abroad. Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do!
I just wanted to post this here so that anyone looking for linguistics internships can get some extra help. Good luck!
P.S. If someone has other resources, tips, or ideas to share please post it and let me know! Thanks!
