Hi all, I have a second stage interview tomorrow evening and they have asked me to come back with a rough plan of what I'd like to achieve in the first 3 months.

Its a brand new industry for me, so its hard to gauge how quickly I will learn/adapt to the new processes. That's making it hard for me to know where to set my plan.

Or should it be much simpler than that and am I over thinking it?

They said a rough interview so do not worry about being too detailed. If you are worried, just research your topic thoroughly and admit to them when you present it that you are a bit nervous and are open to their input. This will show them that you are flexible, not that you are incompetent.

Thanks for the reply. Well I put together a small list and they were very impressed with the thoughts and ideas presented to them. They offered the job and against the other 3 offers I had, I went with them.

Awesome and congratulations!

Sometimes overthinking at that point in the interview process will kill everything, as weird as it sounds. I'm happy for you, and hope you enjoy the new job. You will have to post back after a while and let me know how it is going! Very Happy
