|
|
My accounting job experence has been shown on my resume as follows in a chronlogic resume on one page.
2008- present contract work
job1 2006-20007 nonprofit
job 2 1993-2006 nonprofit
job 3 1987--1993 for profit
job 4 1985--1987 for profit
1) Do I need my last job of 1984--to 1987 or should I make a statement that prior work will be available upon request or should I just show my last 3 permanent jobs period and leave off last job.
2) Is it okay to show my contract or temp work right above my permanent wor under professional experience or show it some other place , or make no statement that I am working temp. |

I would not worry about differentiating between temp work and regular work. As for the length of time on your resume, I think providing a twenty year history and then your statement about prior history available upon request is a great idea. This keeps your resume from getting too long and lets them know that you have had other experiences too, that you are not trying to hide.

| You list your temporary work along with your permanent employment in chronological order. Simply designate that this was a temporary assignment in parentheses i.e. (temporary) after the entry. |
