I am an American, want to work in Europe and do not know how to go about it.

Please tell me how to get Europe work permit?

What skills and qualifications do I need to have to work in Europe?

You need to be more specific than 'Europe' as each country over there has specific visa requirements that may differ from country to country. Find out more about a country you desire, about jobs within that country that are within your skill range, and then go from there. Do know that you cannot work on a visitor's visa in most areas; you must be a resident.
