| I am currently on a gap year before starting a Maths degree in September, and am looking for a way to spend my next nine months. I hope to get a career in research/statistics in the future (e.g. gov department for international development would be my main aim) and as such am hoping to get some relevant overseas work experience in this kind of area. I am quite prepared for this to be an unpaid job, as I am young and with only a little office and volunteering experience. My original idea was just a ground level job abroad collecting basic information, carrying out surveys, admin etc, but I am having trouble finding any charitable or aid-aimed companies with work experience or base-level opportunities. Anyone know of any opportunities that might be available to me? |
