I received an email informing me that I have been selected for an interview. I replied back with my times of availability and I politely asked them what it was about my CV that suggested that I be interviewed. Upon receiving the reply, it turned out that they didn't receive my CV and they probably misread my cover letter.
They wrote: "Since our work focuses on Chinese American families, your experience with Asian populations and fluency in Chinese would be a great asset to our lab."
I can address the first part regarding the "experience with Asian populations" easily because it was something that could have been clarified had they received my CV. But I specifically mentioned that I was "proficient" in Chinese rather than "fluent" in my cover letter. How should I reply to this email? Or should I address this at the interview (which will take place towards the end of the week), and how??
Thanks in advance! |
